Terms of use
These terms cover quantfi.cc and the product interfaces served from it. Using the site means accepting them.
What this service is
quantfi.cc publishes research tooling over public records and market data: browsable interfaces, read APIs, and health endpoints stating how fresh and how complete each dataset is. It is a research instrument, not a data feed sold with guarantees.
Accounts
- An account is personal to one person. Do not share it, and do not use someone else's.
- Your account is identified by the email address on the Google account you sign in with, so keeping that Google account secure is what keeps this account secure.
- You can delete your account at any time. See the privacy page for exactly what deletion removes.
Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to bypass, probe or defeat the authentication in front of the protected parts of the site.
- Do not scrape the interfaces in place of the documented APIs, or place automated load on the site heavy enough to degrade it for others.
- Redistribution depends on the source, not on this site. Some underlying datasets are public domain and some carry provider terms that restrict redistribution. Each product states its sources; where a provider's terms govern the data, they continue to govern it after it passes through here, and honouring them is your responsibility as much as ours.
- Do not use the site to break the law or to infringe anyone's rights.
Accuracy, and what is not promised
The data comes from third-party and government sources. It can be late, revised, incomplete, or wrong at the source, and any of those pass through into what you see. No warranty is given that any figure is accurate, complete or current.
What is offered instead of a warranty is visibility: every product exposes a health endpoint reporting its status, the age of its most recent ingest and the span of its coverage, and describes its own fields and sources. Where a dataset is stale or degraded the interface says so. Check it rather than assuming freshness.
Availability
The service is self-hosted and carries no uptime commitment. It may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or failures, with or without notice, and products may be changed or withdrawn.
Payment
Ending access
You can stop using the service and delete your account at any time. Access may be suspended or withdrawn for a breach of the acceptable use section above, or where continuing to provide it would put the service or its sources at risk.
Liability
The service is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not liable for any loss arising from use of the site or reliance on anything it produces, including trading or investment losses, lost profits, or loss arising from data that was inaccurate, delayed or unavailable.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
These terms carry the date they were last changed, at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the revised terms.
