Privacy

This page describes what quantfi.cc stores about the people who use it. It is written to be checked rather than skimmed: every statement below is about a specific field, cookie or request, not a general assurance.

If you never sign in, no account exists and nothing is stored about you. If you do sign in, what is kept is your email address, an identifier from Google, two timestamps, and any preferences you set.

What is stored when you have an account

Your email address — supplied by Google when you sign in. It is the account's identity, which is why signing in again with the same address returns you to the same account rather than creating a second one.
A Google account identifier — the opaque subject ID Google issues for your account. It is recorded alongside the email, not used to match you.
Two timestamps — when the account was created, and when it last signed in.
Preferences you set — stored as plain key and value against your account, such as a default symbol or period.

That is the whole list. There is no profile, no name, no picture, no address book, no contacts, and no inferred attributes.

What is never collected

No payment data. The site takes no payments and no payment processor is connected to it, so there is no card number, billing address or transaction history to hold — not stored securely, simply absent.

There are also no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts on any page of this site or its product interfaces. Nothing measures what you look at, nothing follows you between visits, and no data is sold, rented or shared for advertising.

Cookies

A sign-in cookie, once you sign in, so that you stay signed in between pages. Removing it signs you out.
Cloudflare's access cookie on the parts of the site behind the access gate, set by Cloudflare to record that a request has been authenticated.

There are no advertising or analytics cookies to decline.

Who else sees anything

Two third parties are involved in serving this site, and it is worth being precise about what each one sees.

Google — for sign-in. Google tells you what is being shared on its own consent screen, and the request is for the minimum needed to confirm your email address. Separately, and regardless of whether you sign in, the fonts on these pages are loaded from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and the address of the page you are viewing at the moment the fonts load. That is true of most sites using Google Fonts and is usually left unsaid; it is stated here because it is a real disclosure of your IP address to a third party.
Cloudflare — all traffic to this site passes through Cloudflare, which terminates the encrypted connection, processes connection information including your IP address, and operates the authentication gate on the protected parts of the site.

Nobody else. There is no data broker, no advertising network, no email marketing platform and no customer analytics service in the path.

Where it is kept, and for how long

Account data lives in a database on the server that runs this site, kept deliberately separate from the databases holding product data, so that restoring or rebuilding a dataset can never resurrect an account and deleting an account can never touch a dataset.

It is kept until you delete the account. The web server keeps no request log of its own; connection records held by Cloudflare are subject to Cloudflare's own retention.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from your account page. Deletion removes the account row — email address, Google identifier and both timestamps — and every preference stored against it. The deletion is enforced at the database level rather than by a cleanup routine, so preferences cannot survive the account they belong to.

The data in the products is not data about you

The products on this platform hold congressional trade disclosures, lobbying filings, federal contract awards, retail fuel prices and market data. That is information about public officials, organisations and financial instruments, published by the bodies that require its disclosure or by the venues that trade it. None of it is collected from visitors or derived from your use of the site.

Children

This is research tooling for professional and personal research use. It is not directed at children, and accounts are not intended for them.

Changes

This page carries the date it was last changed, at the top. If what is collected changes, that date changes with it.
